The Detroit Red Wings have traded defenseman Steven Kampfer to the Arizona Coyotes for future considerations.

Kampfer, 34, will report to Tucson of the American Hockey League after the trade announced on Thursday.

The Minnesota Wild have reportedly landed defenseman John Klingberg from the Anaheim Ducks in a deal that just got completed before the deadline Friday.

TSN, which first reported the trade, said the Ducks will receive defenseman Andrej Sustr, the rights to forward Nikita Nesterenko and a fourth-round pick in 2025. Anaheim retains 50% of Klingberg's remaining salary this year.

The Buffalo Sabres added more size to their forward group on Friday, trading for Minnesota Wild winger Jordan Greenway in exchange for a 2023 second-round pick and 2024 fifth-round pick.

The 6-foot-6 Greenway is a defense-first forward with physical edge who can complement skilled players around him. The 26-year-old had a career-best season in 2021-22, with 10 goals and 27 points in 62 games but has struggled to produce offensively for much of this year (two goals and seven points in 45 games).

Dmitry Kulikov is on the move with the Anaheim Ducks trading the veteran defenseman to the Pittsburgh Penguins, sources told ESPN's Emily Kaplan on Friday, confirming multiple reports.

The Ducks will receive a third-round pick in the deal, as well as veteran forward Brock McGinn, according to multiple reports.

As expected, Max Domi became the latest player involved in the Chicago Blackhawks' flurry of moves with the forward being traded Thursday to the Dallas Stars, it was announced.

Domi, along with minor league goaltender Dylan Wells, went to the Stars in exchange for goalie Anton Khudobin and a 2025 second-round pick.

Jonathan Quick is on the move again.

The Vegas Golden Knights acquired Quick in a trade with Columbus on Thursday, in exchange for goaltender Michael Hutchinson and a 2025 seventh-round pick.

The Blue Jackets retained 50% of Quick's salary/cap hit in the deal. He is a pending UFA in the final season of a 10-year, $58 million contract.

Nick Bjugstad became the latest player to leave the Arizona Coyotes, who traded the forward to the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday for a 2023 third-round draft pick, a source confirmed to ESPN.

The teams also swapped defenseman prospects as part of the deal, with Arizona receiving Michael Kesselring and Edmonton acquiring Cam Dineen, the source confirmed. The trade was first reported by Daily Faceoff.

The Boston Bruins are staying busy ahead of the NHL trade deadline, acquiring forward Tyler Bertuzzi from the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday in exchange for a 2024 first-round draft choice and a 2025 fourth-round pick.

The first-round choice is top-10 protected. Detroit will also retain 50% of Bertuzzi's $4.75 million cap hit in the deal.

Mikael Granlund became the latest player to exit the Nashville Predators, with the Pittsburgh Penguins announcing Wednesday they acquired the veteran forward for a 2023 second-round pick.

Granlund, who has nine goals and 36 points in 58 games, gives the Penguins another top-nine forward in their chase to secure a playoff spot.

Two-time Stanley Cup-winning goaltender Jonathan Quick has been traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Quick was dealt to Columbus along with a conditional first-round pick in 2023 and a third-round pick in 2024 for defenseman Vladislav Gavrikov and goaltender Joonas Korpisalo, the teams announced Wednesday. The first-round pick is conditional on the Kings making the playoffs and would become two second-round picks (2023 and 2024) if they do not.
